EFA 2026 Best Conference Paper Prize (€3,000)

The Best Conference Paper Prize is the highest distinction awarded to an academic paper presented during the EFA 2026 Annual Meeting.

The Engelbert Dockner Memorial Prize for the Best Paper by Young Researchers (€3,000)

The EFA awards a prize in memory of Engelbert Dockner (EFA President in 2016) for the best paper presented at the conference by a young researcher. The prize is granted annually for the 2025–2029 period.
The winning paper is selected from among those written by young researcher(s) and accepted for presentation at the EFA Annual Meeting. A young researcher is defined as a PhD student or a scholar/professor who completed their doctoral degree no more than three years before the respective EFA Annual Meeting. Papers co-authored exclusively with other young researchers are eligible.

Review of Finance Awards

2026 IQAM Best Paper Prize (€5,000)

The IQAM Prize will be awarded at the European Finance Association (EFA) Annual Meeting for the best paper to the best paper published in the Review of Finance Journal in the field of investment and asset pricing published in the Review of Finance. The prize-winning paper is selected by the Editorial Board of the journal.

2026 Pagano and Zechner Prize (€5,000)

The Pagano and Zechner Prize will be awarded at the EFA Annual Meeting to the best paper published in the Review of Finance Journal in any field excluding investment and asset pricing. The prize-winning paper is selected by the Editorial Board of the journal.

2026 Review of Finance Distinguished Referee Awards

The Distinguished Referee Awards will be presented at the EFA Annual Meeting to three scholars who have provided outstanding refereeing services to the Review of Finance, as voted by the Editors of the journal.
